The size at first was bigger then expected, but then I used it and realized it fit all my stuff to store it in my garage and it’s big enough to stand in too. I love rinsing off the salt water after being in the ocean and then being able to go straight to work.

Overall, the BeachBox is terrific. Having a place to change into and out of my wetsuit and other gear, hose it and myself down, and store it all in an otherwise dry enclosure is a game changer. Sure, I could have used a storage bin as I have in the past, but all the little extra features make the BeachBox a cut above. The dry area and small item bins worked great for my towel, lotion and sunglasses, and the little drain hole/plug kept everything dry. One small snafu: the rubber drain plug broke while moving the BeachBox around in the back of my car. I've contacted the company, and they're sending me a replacement ASAP. Again, a great experience, with both the product and the company.

I've been a "bring a big water bottle and rinse" kind of parking lot frequent forever, but this is a real game changer. The lid that doubles as a changing mat, the water pressure of the shower and a place to keep dry towels, wax, sunscreen, clothes ect... is so awesome. I also use this for camping and just use the box as storage. It's a great tool for everything outdoors not only surfing.
